Boundary Feed, 37.9x37.9(cm)/ 100pcs, oil on canvas, 2020

<Boundary Feed> is a painting project from 2018 to 2020. This is a work that was inspired by SNS, among them, the 'Instagram' platform. Instagram reflects the real and virtual world of modern people in a square square frame. Artist Hong Chae-yeon wanted to achieve a large-scale painting by capturing the borderline world of modern people on the 8s (37.9x37.9cm) canvas. Thus, the <Boundary Feed> project was a project in which 100 8s (37.9x37.9cm) works were gathered to form a large painting. This huge painting exhibited at the Arko Museum of Art is installed in front and back, showing different exhibition views. In addition, the installed paintings are not tightly packed, but have empty frames in between. This is to reflect the fact that the work can be seen differently depending on the movement and gaze of the viewer. It's like our image on Instagram.

<Boundary Feed>는 2018년부터 2020년동안 진행한 회화 프로젝트입니다. SNS, 그 중 '인스타그램' 플랫폼에 영감을 받아 진행된 작품입니다. 인스타그램은 정방형 네모난 프레임 안에 현대인의 현실과 가상 세계를 반영하고 있습니다. 홍채연 작가는 8s (37.9x37.9cm)캔버스에 현대인의 경계선 세계를 담아내 커다란 회화를 이루고자하였습니다. 그리하여 진행된 <Boundary Feed> 프로젝트는 8s (37.9x37.9cm) 작품이 100개 모여 커다란 회화를 이뤄낸 프로젝트입니다. 아르코미술관에 전시된 이 거대한 회화 작품은 회화작품이 앞과 뒷면으로 설치되어 다른 전시 전경을 보여줍니다. 또한 설치된 회화작품은 빼곡히 작품이 다 매워져 있는 것이 아니라 중간중간 빈 프레임이 있게 됩니다. 이는 관람객의 동선과 시선에 따라 작품이 달리 보일 수 있는 것을 반영하고자 한 것입니다. 이는 마치 인스타그램에 보여지는 우리의 모습 같습니다.
